FAQ

What makes a PES Editions Limited Edition print unique?

Limited Edition prints are our flagship fine art pieces, strictly capped at low production runs to protect their collector value. Unlike our paper open editions, these pieces are produced on advanced, high-end mediums—including infused metallic fine art paper and premium dye-sublimation metal prints with float mounts. Each limited piece is individually inspected, hand-signed, and numbered by the photographer, Phil Schmauder. Once a limited collection sells out, it will never be printed again.

What is your return policy on fine art prints?

Because every single limited edition piece is custom printed to order, we cannot accept standard returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse. However, we recognize that transit mishaps can occur. Because your nvestment represents a strictly limited, numbered place in our chronology, we have established the Replenishment Protocol to guarantee that shipping damage never compromises your collection.

Can I exchange my Limited Edition artwork for different photograph?

Each Fine Art Limited Edition is custom produced to order. As such, we are unable to change your artwork once order is placed.

Can I cancel my Limited Edition artwork order?

All works are custom orders. Production of the purchased work(s) begins immediately after purchase, and shipment will occur as soon as possible after production is complete. As a result, the work(s) cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded at any time.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is 100% free on all fine art print orders within the United States. The price you see on the product page is exactly what you pay at checkout.

How long will it take to get my print?

To guarantee absolute gallery excellence, every single print from PES Editions undergoes a rigorous, dual-stage fulfillment process. Regardless of size or edition tier, your artwork is first produced by our master laboratory and securely routed directly to our Las Vegas studio. Here, each piece is individually unboxed, subjected to a strict physical inspection under specialized lighting, hand-signed, and dual-stickered with matching holographic security tags. Because
of this highly personalized, white-glove certification process, please allow 3 to 4 weeks for production, studio inspection, and final insured delivery to your door.

What payment methods do you accept?

Our secure checkout accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also support digital wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay for a fast and secure checkout experience.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes, absolutely. Our storefront is built on a fully certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant platform and uses industry-standard SSL encryption. Your sensitive payment details are fully encrypted and securely processed, meaning your financial data is never stored on our servers.

Do the prints come framed?

All paper prints are unframed. The Thunderbird Precision Metal Collection pieces come with a hidden inset frame with hanging wire ready to hang.

Can I request a custom size for a Limited Edition print?

Because our Limited Edition prints are strictly numbered and capped to preserve their collector value, they are only offered in specific, curated dimensions that omplement the medium (such as infused metal or metallic paper).

Can I order a print of an image I saw on your archive site?

Yes! While our storefront showcases our current curated collections, our full photographic history can be browsed at our archive site, peseditions.art. If you spot a specific military aircraft, exercise milestone, or wildlife portrait in the archive that you would like produced as a premium gallery print, simply reach out through our Contact page with the image details. We can ustom-print archive images on archival matte paper, metallic paper, or infused metal to fit your exact space.

Can a Limited Edition print be personalized with custom text or metadata?

Yes. For our premium prints, we can add a subtle, custom personalization—such as a specific military squadron, a veteran's service dates, or pilot call signs—printed cleanly within the bottom margin of the piece. Because this requires custom adjustments to the print file before production, please contact us directly through our Contact page before placing your order to discuss your text requirements.
