Captured on location during Day 1 of the Aviation Nation 2025 airshow at Nellis Air Force Base, Echelon Alpha freezes a powerful display of lateral symmetry and flight discipline. While the Thunderbirds' signature echelon pass is typically executed as a tight 4-ship formation, this fine-art study captures a rare, modified 3-ship echelon pass—necessitated because the slot pilot (#3 aircraft) was grounded that afternoon. Showcasing the clinical mechanical precision and "Tactical Grit" of the elite squadron, this composition highlights the absolute synchronization required of the pilots as they adapted seamlessly to the modified flight profile against a high-contrast desert sky.
